In our daily lives, we extract resources like food, water, and materials from the Earth, turning them into products that we eventually discard. This linear approach results in waste, resource depletion, pollution, and congestion.
A circular economy ensures that products are continuously reused, refurbished, recycled, or composted, preventing waste and regenerating nature. This approach not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and pollution but also fosters prosperity, job creation, and resilience.
You are invited to participate in a research project aimed at improving a game designed to raise awareness of the circular economy. As a potential user, your insights will help refine the game to better meet user needs.
The Circular Citizens game is part of a research initiative funded by the UKRI Economic and Social Research Council and led by Dr Marianna Marchesi from the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University.
